HANOJU Organic Turmeric
Curcuma is a plant species in the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). Its name derives from the ancient Indian term "kunkuman," which refers to the saffron-yellow color of the rhizome. It is believed that the curcuma plant originated in the mountainous regions of South Asia. However, its exact origin has not yet been clearly established. Today, curcuma is cultivated primarily on the Indian subcontinent, in China, Indonesia, and the South American tropics.
