Recommended use:
As a food supplement, take one teaspoon once or twice a day in the morning or at midday with plenty of water. Preferably half an hour before meals.

Psyllium husks: plant fibre that binds water
Psyllium husks are the husks of the psyllium seeds that grow on the plant Plantago ovata. The husks contain plant fibre, which can bind large amounts of water. The seed husks are used, for example, as a binding agent in gluten-free baked goods.
Ways to consume:
There are various ways to take psyllium husks. They can be added to muesli or sprinkled over salad. They are also an addition to home-baked bread. Most people, however, simply stir them into a glass of water. The psyllium husks can also be pre-soaked before consumption.
