General information:
"Krill" comes from Norwegian and translates as "whale food". Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) is a species of the family Euphausiidae (krill) that lives in the waters around Antarctica. Krill are shrimp-like invertebrates that live in large swarms. These crustaceans feed on plankton. They reach a body length of about 6 cm and weigh up to 2 grams.
Storage note: The quality of omega-3 from krill oil is impaired by light, air, heat and humidity. Therefore always store it closed in a dark, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
